    Meet The Author: Nikki Van De Car

    Nikki Van De Car is a blogger, mother, writer, crafter, and lover of all things mystical. She is the author of ten books on magic and crafting, including Practical Magic and The Junior Witch's Handbook, and the founder of two popular knitting blogs. Nikki lives with her family in Hawaii.

    Harriet Lee-Merrion is an award winning artist and illustrator. Her work is rendered in a wash of pastel colors and delicate black lines, and is influenced by botanical engravings, surrealism, and Japanese woodblock prints. She has worked with international clients including Google, TED, The Guardian, Bloomsbury and The New York Times, and her work has also been exhibited internationally in New York, London, and Berlin. She is the recipient of a 3×3 International Illustration Award for Editorial Illustration and is a winner of two American Illustration Awards. She has taught at various universities and has spoken internationally on the topic of illustration. She lives and works in Bristol, in the South West of England, and has been working as an illustrator since graduating from Falmouth Arts University in 2013.
