Featuring powerful works from renowned artists like Roy Lichtenstein, Shepard Fairey, Carrie Mae Weems, Vincent Valdez, and Deborah Kass, the kit includes 50 postcards that can be used to urge friends to vote or be part of a postcard-writing campaigns, colorful stickers to spread important messages, and mini-posters to display on store front windows and community bulletin boards. Also included are 32 conversation starters and a practical how-to guide that teaches essential skills for activism, such as how to write an opinion piece, how to present a strong argument to elected officials, and how to take collective action. All royalties from the kit will go to People For the American Way, a progressive organization started by Norman Lear to combat bigotry and promote creative expression.
